FAMILY CAMP 2018

Dear Scouts & Potential Scout families,

Welcome our Potential Scout families joining us for this year family camp!

Attached package (click here to download) has the detail information regarding the family camp.

As a camping coordinator, my main tasks are to collect the payment to reserve the camp site early enough to accommodate all of us, and to collect all documents (hard copies) from all participants as required by the Camp Tahquitz. These documents are needed at the arrivals, but if you could, and to make my job easier, I would want all of these together with the payment way before. Payment is $80.00 per head, you can pay me by cash or by check payable to Melinda Tang. (I reserve the camp site using my credit card.) These forms are at the end pages of the attached package. Each participant needs to submit the following forms:

1. Medical Form Part A & Part B, and a copy of your Insurance Card front & back. (no Part C)
2. Parental Informed Consent, Release and Indemnity Agreement, and Authorization For Cope / Climbing / Rappelling Activities
3. California Rifle and Shotgun Parental/Legal Guardian Permission Form (only for those participants under 18; adults are not required); it says to make 4 copies which I can do

It is a lot of paper work for each family. Please make sure you fill in correctly, and submit in full documentation per family together with payment. I would like to collect starting April Scout Parent Meeting. For the Potential Scout families, you can pass it to me or our Troop leaders, or call/text me so that I can collect it at your convenient time. I hope if we can all these completed by our May Parent Meeting and that is 5/5/2018. Please don't hesitate to contact me, or any of our Troop leaders, if you have any questions.
